Blue Meadow
‣ When ordering your bridal adornment or veil, please allow 8 - 12 weeks for the creation of your custom made piece. Lead times greatly vary depending on the time of year, so please enquire for further information.
‣ Each item is handmade, making it unique and delicate. It is the buyer’s responsibility to care for their handcrafted item once received. Gold and silver plated finishes are temporary and will dull over time, this is dependant on usage and falls under customer wear and tear. Perfumes, hairspray, creams and any other chemicals will cause a chemical reaction or accelerate the tarnishing process. Please take extra care with Mother of Pearls and Freshwater Pearls, they are organic stones and can crack or fall out if dropped. Chemicals can also affect the Epoxy securing pearls to earrings
‣Please fully inspect your handmade item on arrival, any faults need to be reported within 7 days of arriving.
‣Please do not steam or iron veils, especially if embellished as it can loosen the threads/glue. If a veil is very creased hang it from a height for a few days and the creases should fall out naturally.
‣ Any enquiries made directly and offers on lead-time given, are valid for 48hrs only. We juggle a lot of orders and retailers so please accept that lead-time changes on a regular basis. If you do not order within the 48hr turnaround, you will need to enquire again.
‣Freshwater Pearls and Mother of Pearls are natural stones, each one unique owing to their organic nature. Some stones are up to a millimetre different in size. Pearls and Mother of Pearl are delicate semi precious stones, be careful not to drop or knock your items as this can cause stones to become loose.
‣ Bespoke orders are welcome and offered at no extra cost, Sandra loves to create unique designs for brides. There is a 50% non-refundable deposit required for a commissioned bespoke piece, for the design and sourcing of materials. The remaining balance is payable within 14 days of completion, or upon collection, whichever is soonest. Please be aware that bespoke creations may take up to 12 - 16 weeks to make. There is also a limited amount of bespoke orders that can be accommodated at any one time, so please contact to enquire about the availability.
‣ Depending on other appointments, rush orders may be accommodated. Please contact with an enquiry to see if such an order can be fulfilled. There will be an additional fee for this expedited service.
‣ Colours may differ slightly from the appearance on your screen/ monitor, owing to the calibration of your device.
‣ As every piece is custom made to order, no refunds or exchanges will be offered. Please take care to note the colours and dimensions of each piece. When you commit to purchase from Blue Meadow Bridal it is understood that you are aware of the policies, terms and conditions, shipping times and costs. If you are unsure and would like more information, further images, or a fabric swatch please contact through the enquiries page. There is no refund or exchange on earrings due to hygiene reasons.
‣ All purchases of larger headpieces and veils with UK destinations will be shipped using Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed®—an insured and traceable service to guarantee the safe arrival of your handmade luxury piece. UK Postage and Packaging is £3 (48HR Tracked) for earrings and small pins or combs, and £8 for larger headpieces and veils. European and International orders of veils & headpieces will be posted using Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed, charged between £10 and £20 depending on the location.. Earrings to these locations are charged between £6 and £10. Any customs charges or import taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. Please be aware of your country’s fees on receiving the parcel.
‣ If parcels are not collected due to outstanding customs fees, or failure to collect from a depot, this is not the responsibility of Blue Meadow. All sales are final at the point of transaction, if a parcel is returned to Blue Meadow you can request a reshipment for a fee. A returned parcel is not grounds for a refund.
‣ Royal Mail Special Delivery aims to arrive in one working day for the UK. Royal Mail International Tracked can take between 2-20 working days depending on the destination. For example, Europe is usually a week, United Arab Emirates can take up to 4 weeks.
‣ If your order is marked as despatched on a weekend, it will be accepted by Royal Mail and processed the next working day.
‣ If you have received the wrong item or an error has occurred, please contact the designer. If a return is agreed please send using a tracked service and obtain proof of shipping. We cannot be responsible for items lost in the post, we strongly urge you use a tracked & insured service.
‣ Sample sale items will be wrapped in tissue paper and posted in a shipping bag, this is to keep the cost for the buyer as low as possible. If you would like a box please get in touch and we will add a small fee to your order for gift boxes. All sample sale orders are final.
Blue Day
‣ Blue Day earrings are sterling silver with a rhodium plating, or gold vermeil which is a sterling silver base with an 18k Gold plating. All earrings meet the EU jewellery standards EU EN-1811 & EN-12472. This is a curated line.
‣ Each pair will arrive in an Eco jewellery box and envelope. Earrings are shipped using Royal Mail Tracked 48h service and charged at £3.
‣Shipping Outside of the UK is between £5 and £8 and will be sent using the International equivalent to Tracked. Any important taxes or customs charges are the responsibility of the buyer, please check your countries policy on these as they vary.
‣ There will be one shipping drop every week. Please keep in mind we are a small independent business with much of our time taken up designing and making, we cannot offer faster despatch timeframes.
‣ If your order is marked as despatched on a weekend, it will be accepted by Royal Mail and processed the next working day.
‣ Due to hygiene reasons, earrings are non refundable or exchangeable.
‣ Manufacturers faults must be reported within 30 days of purchase. Any faults that may occur after this fall under wear and tear.
‣ Gold plated and rhodium plated jewellery will fade over time, this falls under general wear and tear. Avoid using chemicals such as perfumes, hair spray, creams, oils etc when wearing your earrings. Also remove your earrings before bathing, swimming or sleeping. When plated finishes start to fade, the sterling silver base will show.
